A little bit about who we are:

Company Overview:

  • The Council of Automotive Repair was founded in 2008 when automotive repair members recognized the need to have a group dedicated to automotive repair issues, while still belonging to the WMDA. This group meets monthly and reports to the WMDA Board of Directors. A CAR member can participate in all WMDA functions.

Mission:

  • C.A.R. (Council of Automotive Repairs) was formed by a small group of shop owners who realized a need to better the reputation of the Independent Automotive Repair Industry. Our mission is to provide 100% customer satisfaction. To achieve this goal we work together to give our members the best training available to for Shop Owners, Technicians, Service Advisors, Managers and Parts Personnel.

C.A.R. holds ten meetings per year to plan and discuss issues affecting the industry. This gives certified C.A.R. Service Centers the leading edge on tips and techniques to better handle our customers’ needs. All C.A.R. Service Centers are interviewed and must be approved by our Board of Directors.

Each C.A.R. Service Center is fully staffed and equipped to handle all of your automotive needs with experienced, trained, and certified technicians and equipment to service or repair vehicles with the highest standards in the industry. C.A.R. Service Centers are owned and operated by independent men and women in the automotive repair business.

Our Service Centers are all small businesses, and are usually family owned, which offers many advantages to the consumer. There is no need for “layers of management” to handle any issue that may arise from services performed at our Centers. Our Centers are trustworthy, offer better service, and have better relationships with our customers. Many C.A.R. Service Centers are owned by technicians who have risen to the top of the Automotive Industry and decided to pursue the American dream by starting their own business.
We completely understand the value of quality service, and in order for us to be successful, our top priority has to be Customer Satisfaction. We pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect. We would appreciate the opportunity to become your new Automotive Service Center.
